This very berry oatmeal recipe makes a filling and very taste good kind of breakfast. The quick, instant oatmeal does not have enough texture and is too over processed. I do like the creamier texture though. Steel cut oats don’t do it for me, but they are the healthiest choice. With a bit of compromise, the combination in this recipe fits my taste buds perfectly. Also, mixing the quick with the old fashioned oats, is a bit healthier choice.
Very Berry Oatmeal To Feed Your Early Morning Hangry
An easy oatmeal recipe that is quick to make and easy to love , with all the fruit filled flavor of the berries.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup quick oats
- 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
- 6-7 oz water
- 1-2 oz milk
- 2 tsp of your favorite sweetener
- 1 tsp real butter
- 6-10 of you favorite berry
Instructions
- Mix the oats, water and sweetener together in a deeper bowl.
- Heat in microwave for 2 1/2 minutes.
- Pour in milk and toss in berries, and partially stir.
- Addreal butter on top to melt.
