A Sugar Free Whipped Cream Topping Recipe That Is Delectably Awesome
Behind The Recipe
Sugar free whipped cream topping is pretty easy to find in your local grocer these days. When you prefer to know exactly what is in your sugar free whipped cream topping, this recipe is your go to. With only a few ingredients, it is really super quick and super good! According to foodandwine.com, whipped topping was included in recipes that date back to 1549 in Italy and 1604 in France. It would be really neat to know the story of its original invention and how that came about. Even if never known, it is still a wonderful addition to any dessert.
Recipe Tweaks
When the whipped cream topping recipe is such an easy one, and it only has the three ingredients of whipping cream, vanilla extract and non-sugar sweetener, there is not very much room for tweaking. It is a thought that the only tweak you could make here would be the amount of non-sugar sweetener. The kind of sweetener would also play a role in the taste. For many of the sweeter recipes, I use a mixture of two or three different sweeteners. I have also used natural sweeteners like honey. This prevents or better hides a specific after taste that might not be so pleasant.
